Our History

In the early 1979 COTEMAR, S.A. de C.V., a construction and service company, was set up by private Mexican investments.Since its foundation, COTEMAR has provided Petroleos Mexicanos with services related to the development of offshore oil fields using, specialized vessels.

COTEMAR is certificated under the Norm ISO 9001-2000 for its business activities ensuring that its operative processes are effective. Cotemar also counts on the approval of the International Ship and Port-Facility Security, and its vessels count on the ISM (International Safety Management) certification in all marine safety activities.

COTEMAR offers the following services:

• Maintenance and overhauling of Platforms and Process Center in offshore facilities.

• Semi-submersible Platforms Operation.

• Integral Catering and Accommodation Services.

• Support Vessels Operation for transport and specialized services.
